Totterdown Gym has a wide range of facilities available to all levels and disciplines from fitness to body sculpting.

We have a extensive range of Watson Resistance Machines, Free Weights and Plate Loaded Machines.

Cardio equipment including Treadmill, X Trainers, Steppers, Bikes and Rowers.

We also have separate male and female Saunas and Power Showers.

Totterdown Gym can also offer tailored Personal Training, Diet and Nutrition advice from our Qualified Staff with over 23 years combined experience.

​Resistance Training

Resistance training increases muscle strength by making your muscles work against a weight or force. Different forms of resistance training include using free weights, weight machines, resistance bands and your own body weight. A beginner needs to train two or three times per week to gain the maximum benefit.

Resistance training is the second most effective way (diet being the first) of reducing body fat and increasing muscle density and therefore changing your bodies composition.

Cardiovascular Training

Cardiovascular (cardio) exercise has many benefits for the body.
